This is the second time I’ve read this book. Why? Because I felt like I needed a kick up the bum. I was a fan the first time, and I still am. So I want to share my review of the Total Money Makeover with you.

When I first began this journey after reading The Total Money Makeover, I hit the ground running with gazelle intensity.

Gazelle intense money makeover
Imagine you’re a gazelle fuelled by fear to escape your fate.

I saved a £1,000 emergency fund. I paid off £5k in 9 months and I earned £700 in side income. All alongside being a stay at home mum, in November alone.

If like me, you’re on a journey to become debt-free, this book is a must-read.

What’s So Great About The Total Money Makeover?

Dave Ramsey gets inside your mind and turns your beliefs about money upside-down. You don’t need credit to live a normal life. You DO need to have an emergency fund. And you DO need to learn how to budget. Most of all, you need to learn persistence, consistency and PLANNING.

Oh, and then there’s the gazelle-intensity, too.

Together with several real-life stories of people who have got out of debt, this book walks you through the baby steps. These are the steps you need to take in order to achieve “financial fitness” and peace. The steps to get you out of debt, for good.

How Easy is it to Get Out of Debt?

You’ll have to break some solid, ingrained habits. You’ll have to make sacrifices. It will be tough. But the results are pretty extraordinary, and I’m proof of that from the beginning of my own journey.

You see, once you’re debt-free and you’ve ditched your bad habits and thrown out those money-myths, you can start building your wealth. Be ready for your future. Have security.

How Can This Book Help Me?

No more payments. Imagine that?

If you can follow the baby steps as laid out in this book, you can get a money makeover. Be inspired by the real-life stories of the families featured, and you’ll be fired up with steely determination to rid yourself of debt, once and for all.

It might just be the solution you’re looking for.
